The phrase “fishers of men” was spoken by Jesus when He was calling two of His disciples, Simon Peter and Andrew, to follow Him. “As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. ‘Come, follow me,’ Jesus said, ‘and I will make you fishers of men.’ At once they left their nets and followed him” (Mark 1:16–18; see also Matthew 4:19).
When faced with the important challenges we face today, we have found that it is critical that we are connected with like-minded men, who will lift us up to become the best we can be. We are a group of men who have recognized that we need God's help to become the men He created us to be. We also realize that we need one another to become better men.

We meet the second Saturday each month at 8:00am and are open to all men that wish to attend. The meetings consist of Scripture study, group discussion, and prayer. We study God's word, but we are not just a Bible study group. We offer support, but we are not just a support group. We discuss various issues, but we are not just a discussion group. We consider social issues, but we are not just a social action group. We help one another and the community, we encourage one another, we pray for one another, we challenge one another, we love one another.

Fishers of Men Goals:
To develop leaders and challenge men to make our world a better place.
To develop unity among men from all walks of faith.
To encourage and build one another up through friendship and accountability.
To help men foster and develop Godly values and virtues.
To provide the tools and resources that can help identify ones spiritual gifts and how to employ them.
To advance the case for Christ in the hearts of men.
We also have host a fishers of men workday on the 3rd Saturday of each month. On the workday we either go out into the community and help someone do work around their home, who is unable to do the work themselves, or we perform projects around the church. When performing work in the community we do not provide the materials, only the labor and we limit the distance we travel to within 5 miles of the church unless otherwise approved by the church.

If you have any questions or a project that needs done around your house, please don't hesitate to contact us by clicking here.
